Start modelling bouncing ball

Due to my new laptop cannot access the 3Ds Max software, so I can only do my assignment when I was in school. I almost done all of the assignment, but sadly I found that my assignment will not be 30 seconds that long if i really followed the storyboard that I had drawn. I tried to prolong the sequence of the bouncing ball, but it's still enough to fill up the time. I haven't try to adjust the bouncing ball assignment according to the 12 principles of animation, maybe it will be okay after adjusting the timing.

This week I already gave up on my new laptop, I didn't do anything to it except playing a facebook game named tetris. I planned to bring my new laptop home and hope that my family could help me to fix the problems.

Assignment 3 start!

Last week, we should be showing about 5% to 10% progression of assignment 3, but due to everyone was doing the rendering for the assignment 2, so no one touch the assignment 3. (Rendering is super duper slow and we can't use our laptop when rendering...) So, this week, week 10, we have been asked to show about 15% of modelling the IKEA image. This time I have been reminded kindly by Mr Simon not to be late submission as we will be having final examination after week 14. There will be no time for me to revision for the final if I submit after week 14. Before I started to model the objects, I have issue with the image. I can't import the image onto the plane, It showed nothing. Later, then I only knew that the JPEG image that I imported is a bad JPEG file. That's why I can't open it in 3Ds Max. So, I downloaded another same image to import it into the 3Ds Max and it worked successfully. I started with the small objects on the rack using the line and 'lathe'...

The first day of attending 3D animation class

("3D Modeling Software | Free Resources & Apps | Autodesk", 2017) Today is the first time I attended a 3D class,  before that I only have some general ideas about it. In order to let our 3D lecturer to know our name, we had some sort of ice breaking session by introducing our name to each other in the class. Our class is a mixture of Digital Animation students and Game Design students. Some of the Game Design students I have known them in foundation time. After introducing ourselves, our 3D lecturer had asked one of us to open a whatsapp group but no one volunteered to do it. Then one of my friend was selected by the lecturer and I think he had became the class representative from then on. Later the lecturer began to tell us about what we should and shouldn't be.
